What you'll do
- Setup & Operation: Set up, load, and operate CNC machines (Mills/Lathes) to perform various machining functions
- G-Code Proficiency: Read and interpret G-code/M-code to understand tool paths, speeds, and feeds
- Perform "dry runs" and make necessary offsets or program edits at the controller to ensure part accuracy
- Blueprints & GD&T: Read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Tooling: Select and install appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and accessories
- Inspection: Perform first-article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to maintain tolerances as tight as $±0.0005$
What you'll bring
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in CNC Machining within a production environment
- Technical Skills: Must be able to read and edit G-code manually
- Experience with [e.g., Haas, Fanuc, or Mazak] controls is highly preferred
- Math Skills: Strong proficiency in shop math, including geometry and trigonometry
- Quality Focus: Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 9001 or AS9100) is a major plus
- Education: High school diploma
