What you'll do
- Provides direct leadership, coaching, and accountability for shift employees while fostering a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement
- Responsible for employee performance management, including training, development, performance feedback, recognition, corrective action, and recommendations regarding hiring, promotion, transfer, and disciplinary actions in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Serves as the primary leader for the shift and is accountable for achieving safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, inventory, and labor performance objectives
- Resolves production, quality, and employee-related issues that arise during the shift and ensures timely and effective follow-up
- Promotes employee engagement through effective communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and consistent application of company standards and expectations
- Utilizes operational data, key performance indicators, and root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and implement actions that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, customer service, and employee development
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field
- or an equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing leadership experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory, leadership, or management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold employees accountable in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience managing production, safety, quality, staffing, and performance metrics preferred
- Knowledge of continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies preferred
