What you'll do
- Serve as a trusted risk advisor to Commercial Real Estate business partners on operational risk matters, controls, governance, and procedural requirements
- Support issue identification, root cause analysis, remediation planning, and resolution of operational risk events
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate risks associated with new initiatives, organizational changes, and business process enhancements
- Lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives, including process mapping, control evaluation, and workflow optimization
- Coordinate and support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and remediation activities
- Assist with risk and control documentation, governance activities, and ongoing monitoring efforts
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience 10 or more years of applicable experience Preferred Qualifications Expert understanding with risk management, issue remediation, audit tracking, and governance processes
- Expert understanding of business operations, products, services, systems, and associated risks and controls Strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends Ability to build credibility and effectively partner with senior business leaders and stakeholders Strong process facilitation, project management, and organizational skills Excellent presentation, relationship management, and negotiation abilities Well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Business acumen with the ability to proactively identify and address evolving business needs Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and databases Experience with nCino and Archer preferred
