A Henderson salon talks hair in three languages

It was a wildly successful Halloween for the kids. Between the KW Trunk or Treat, a few hours out on Halloween night, and some gifts from family and friends… we ended up with sacks full of candy. “Daddy Tax” was in full effect, as I confiscated the Twix & Reese's Pieces for my own research purposes 🙂

The kids were very responsible and agreed to a “Switch Witch” strategy, whereas they could swap out 90% of their candy for a trip to the store to buy something they’ve been wanting.

Less sugar, more of what they actually need day-to-day!

Deep purple sushi is definitely not something you see every day. Hiroba Sushi makes special rolls with black rice, which turns that rich purple color once it's cooked and packs in nutrients like iron, zinc, and amino acids. You can actually upgrade any of their rice dishes to black rice for a modest charge. You can order online or dine in, making it an easy pick for a fun weeknight dinner.
