DESCRIPTION:This class is a required prerequisite for all Open Sew Times an
 d for using the sewing machines at the library. Registration is required. 
 Ages 13+\n\nThis hands-on class is perfect for beginners and will teach yo
 u how to safely use a sewing machine. You’ll become familiar with its esse
 ntial parts and functions\, learn how to thread it properly\, and practice
  basic stitches to help you get started on a variety of sewing projects.\n
 \nThis class includes the use of cutting tools and sharp objects\, such as
  sewing needles\, so safety is emphasized throughout. By the end of the cl
 ass\, you’ll feel confident using a sewing machine and ready to take on yo
 ur own projects.\n\nRegistration is required.\n\nReserve your spot online 
 or ask a Teen Specialist.\n\nPlease call the lab at 702.507.4390 with any 
 questions from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Mon-Thurs) and 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 
 p.m. (Fri-Sun). If you register and must miss this class\, please cancel o
